AUNTY PAM - BAKING HER WAY TO A FRUITFUL CHRISTMAS!

Beatrice Grobler, a customer who regularly attends Hirsch Centurion’s Networking Functions recently approached the company to enquire about a discounted price for an oven she wanted to buy for  Pamela Nel – better known to all as “Aunty Pam” - a wonderful lady in her seventies, who bakes rusks and fruit cakes for a living.

Beatrice regularly buys rusks from her and this is how she came to hear that Aunty Pam’s oven was not working properly, which meant that she could only bake small quantities at one time.

Beatrice, who is also in the same church as Aunty Pam, immediately started collecting from the congregation to buy a new oven. When COE of Hirsch’s, Margaret Hirsch, heard of this, she immediately agreed to a greatly discounted price on an oven.

Aunty Pam was over the moon to receive her new Defy Oven, and shed tears of gratitude thanking everybody who had contributed to her dream oven. She can now continue, full speed ahead, with her home-based-baking-business.

Happy Baking Aunty Pam!
